Rupert Lewis

Founder & Managing Director

I founded Grandison in 2018, after spending 18 years in politics and strategic communications.

Beginning my career as a policy adviser to the former Conservative cabinet minister Oliver Letwin MP, for the last 16 years I have worked for four of the UK’s leading corporate communications agencies (Ketchum, MHP, Fishburn Hedges and Bell Pottinger) providing strategic communications support, reputational management counsel and government relations/public affairs advice to a wide range of global and UK-based individuals and corporate clients.

Grandison specialises in advising individuals, companies and organisations in highly sensitive and scrutinised operating environments.

Increasingly, I have found clients want a more bespoke form of communications support. More effectively tailored to help them secure their communications goals, while tightly aligned with their overall reputational and business objectives.

I am confident that Grandison can help you navigate whatever issues you face, or help you capitalise on opportunities to enhance your own profile or that of your business or organisation.

“Rupert closely advised Whirlpool UK for nearly two years counselling us on how best to navigate a series of major political, regulatory and reputational challenges and engage effectively with government audiences. He was fully aware of the implications that any communications engagement could have on the company’s wider reputation, and was adept at ensuring all messaging that we conveyed to government audiences was consistent with our commitment to establish Whirlpool UK as the leading white goods manufacturer committed to product safety”.
